Knowledge of mystical reality consists of nothing more than "pointers" in the direction of Ultimate Reality, since any description cannot possibly capture It.

Edward will often refer to the sage or philosopher who inspired him as to how to phrase a particular aphorism. Edward realizes that he stands on the shoulders of spiritual giants in this attempt to bring new forms of expression to the perennial wisdom.
